“Marimba Hills” 12″ x 24″ Oil on Canvas. 2025
The inspirations for this painting were Christo’s art installations in nature and the later landscape paintings of Hockney, one of my favorite artists. The irregularity of the stripes creates visual rhythms.

“O-range” 22″ x 24″ Oil on Canvas. 2025
Starting with a landscape-like background with irregular dimensions, I added some orange forms and lines. That gave me the idea for the title. Then I added mathematical range symbols. So I call this whimsical painting “O-Range.”

“Mental Mosaic” 30″ x 24″ Oil on Canvas. 2025
Reworking a purely abstract painting I did some time ago which I wanted to change drastically, I added automatically drawn white lines which I retained unaltered for spontaneity, then painted detail in the tiles to form a type of mosaic.

“Black Lines Over Abstraction” 16″ x 20″ Oil on Canvas. 2025
I had a purely two-dimensional abstract painting that I did before and decided to change it to make it more interesting. So I drew black lines to appear to be in front of the abstraction and create perspective.

“O, Blue-Z” 22″ x 24″ Oil on Canvas. 2025
Inspired by Picasso’s Blue period, I wanted to paint a blue-oriented painting without the feeling of sorrow. Over a landscape-like background, I painted the letter Z in various writing styles, adding some forms in blue oriented colors. The result was a painting with a fun feeling.

“White Lines Over Horizontal or Birdy” 11″ x 14″ Oil on Canvas. 2025
I started with a horizontally oriented landscape-like background with orange lines on the top and bottom, then superimposed white lines. Viewed from a short distance, some lines appeared to form the figure of a bird, with a beak and wings. Hence the title.
